Okanagan Science Centre + My Favorites
The Okanagan Science Centre offers a wide variety of unique, hands-on exhibits that are based on scientific principles. The centre is located close to downtown Vernon in an 1893 heritage school building. Displays feature astronomy, acoustics, optics, electricity, and magnetism. Displays also change periodically. The Interior Space and Science Centre + My Favorites
View optical illusions, learn about magnets, fossils and the forest, visit the planetarium and learn about the stars. Open Tue.-Sat. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. $5; youth, students and seniors $4, under three free; $3 for groups of eight or more. Planetarium show reservations required for large groups.
