Kekuli Bay Provincial Park Kekuli Bay Provincial Park was used as an artillery range during WWII so visitors are urged to avoid any material that looks like it could be left over from that time and report it to park officials. There is a campground in the park with an excellent boat launch. Activities include swimming, fishing, waterskiing, canoeing and kayaking. Address: 11 km south of Vernon off Hwy 97 Vernon BC

Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park spans over 890 hectares. The lake is known as Marl Lake and has a distinct blue/green tone. The park's natural wetlands and ponds are home to an array of wildlife. Juniper Bay, also located within the park, offers a perfect spot for a relaxing day at the beach. Mabel Lake Provincial Park Mabel Lake Provincial Park is worth the 60km (37mi) drive from Vernon with a pristine lake and towering mountains. Off the main road, this park is usually quiet but is complete with many amenities including, but not limited to, camping (with bathrooms and running water), playground, swimming, boat launch, biking and hiking trails.
