Every February, carnival-goers can take in dozens and dozens of events, including a parade, sleigh rides, snow and ice sculpture competitions, a stock car derby on ice, polar bear swim and much more.

Diversity Health Fair will provide the opportunity to discover health services and programs to promote Cancer prevention and early detection. There will be healthy living food demonstrations, interactive activities and health screenings as well as an opening ceremony. Dr. Art Hister, GlobalTV's Daily Health Anaylst, will be the keynote speaker. The health fair will begin at 9:30am-3:00pm at the Vernon Recreation Centre. Admission free.
